Want to know the production process of bamboo plywood? Follow our steps and unveil the mystery of this natural material together!
First, we choose high-quality raw materials - bamboo.
Next, cut the bamboo into pieces, remove the skin and bottom layer, and keep the Erhuang part, because this part has the best gluing effect.
Then, pull the bamboo pieces into bamboo pieces and weave them into bamboo curtains or bamboo mats.
After air drying, sun drying or drying, ensure that the humidity is controlled between 6-15%.
Next, immerse the bamboo curtain or bamboo mat in the glue solution to ensure that it is fully soaked.
After drying, ageing treatment is carried out, and the humidity should not exceed 15%.
When assembling, use phenolic adhesive tape, bamboo mat, long and short curtains in a staggered warp and weft manner, and then add phenolic adhesive tape.
During the hot pressing process, the temperature is controlled at 150℃, the pressure is 160-170kpa, and the insulation and pressure holding time depends on the thickness of the board.
After cooling to about 50℃, the boards are unloaded and cooled by draining cold water.
Finally, the processes of sawing, edge banding, painting and packaging are carried out to complete the production of bamboo plywood.
