1. Moldy bamboo products can be soaked in light salt water for 3 hours, and then boiled in water for 30 minutes to prevent the bamboo from becoming moldy, insect-eaten, and cracking.
2. Soak the moldy bamboo products in 5% hydrogen peroxide for 10 minutes to remove the mildew spots on the bamboo, then soak in 5% glacial acetic acid aqueous solution for 15 minutes, take them out, rinse them with clean water, and air dry.
3. Bamboo utensils should not be cleaned frequently as it will affect their appearance. If you must clean it, you can apply walnut oil after cleaning to prevent insects.
4. Place the mildew removal product in the sun to dry. Be sure to dry the product in the sun without leaving any water, otherwise it will become moldy.
