Floating type
The bamboo floor adopts a scientific floating installation method, which conforms to the physical properties of bamboo floor, fully considers the expansion and contraction factors of cement floor and bamboo floor, and uses the tongue and groove on the four sides of bamboo floor to splice together, without bonding to the ground, leaving a certain expansion joint (safety joint) around the wall, and covering the joint with the anchor to maintain the overall beauty of the floor, and leaving expansion space for the bamboo floor, so that the bamboo floor will not bend or convex.
The floating installation method does not require the keel frame, the flat board, the glue, the nail, the sanding, and the painting (each bamboo floor has been fully sealed on six sides with imported UV paint, and a solid wear-resistant layer has been formed on the surface), saving time, labor, materials, and money (the labor and material cost of paving is only one-third of the labor and material cost of wooden floor paving), and it can be easily disassembled and assembled.
Preparation before installation
1. Level the ground, smooth it with cement slurry and dry it thoroughly.
2. Paint the ground with asphalt paint 1-2 times and dry it thoroughly.
3. Use 3mm thick foam board with plastic paper to lay the ground, which should be flat, without overlap and wrinkles.
4. Prepare several 1.2×1.2cm fir strips for use.
Install bamboo floor
1. Measure the size and use materials reasonably. The cross-sections of all cut boards must be sealed with varnish to prevent moisture.
2. When laying bamboo floor, place fir strips (1.2×1.2cm) at the base of the surrounding walls and start laying vertically. The first piece of bamboo floor has a groove surface close to the fir strip, and then the concave and convex surfaces of the tongue and groove are connected and properly knocked and laid densely. The short boards that need to be cut according to the length of the room are laid at the base of the horizontal wall. The horizontal seams of bamboo floor are laid in an alternating manner.
3. After the overall installation of the bamboo floor is completed, remove the fir boards at the base of the surrounding walls.
4. Use a whole piece of floor to seal the base around the wall to cover the expansion joints. Use wood screws or bamboo sticks to install the anchor board on the wall. The wood screws or bamboo sticks can be dotted with similar color paint (or varnish). Finally, the upper surface of the anchor board is decorated with wooden lines of the same thickness.
Special reminder:
The bamboo floors should not be too tight to prevent squeezing. Glue should not be used at the contact point between the back of the bamboo floor and the floor. The quality of installation directly affects the overall effect of the floor. I hope to ask experienced carpenters to do the construction.
Fixed type
Smooth, dry and clean the installation floor. Spread a layer of oil blanket or moisture-proof paper on the ground, and fix the ordinary long strips (keels) on the cement floor. The keel spacing is generally 30cm. Use 1cm plywood to lay on the wooden strips and fix it, then lay the bamboo floor on the plywood, and use a few iron nails at the male tenon. The cut part of the bamboo floor should be cleaned with oil to prevent moisture. Leave a 1-1.5cm expansion joint around the floor and install the anchor line.
